Two from LAT:

Two from Seattle Times (henceforth ST):

And one that's so easy I'm not going to tell which puzzle it's from:

Don't repeat the motif (7)
ReplyDeleteNice DD. Does the verb stand alone, or is it always a compound with "with"? I suppose as an order it would work alone.
Getting a liquor license owner to begin serving a domestic wine (5)
Nice acrostic.
A group of astrologers returning game enfolded in three quarters of this (3,4)
The definition might ruffle a few feathers, since the use of the definite article points to a specific, biblical, group; and "astrologers" might seem a little insulting. Unwise?
What unbalanced, disheartened teetotalers do before one totters (7)
Very precise and cute cryptic. "unbalanced" serves as a nice tie-in, too, to the definition.
Thing with a crawdad's tail and a doodlebug's head (6)
Agreed. However, there is no pointer to the fragment reversal, unless you have "head" and "tail" serving a dual role, which I suppose is OK.
